Due to the fact that the raw material of ground silica is hard and abrasive all the grinding equipment with fast running grinding elements like impact mill, classifier mill cannot be used. Only a grinding machine with low-speed grinding elements is suitable. The classical processing system of ground silica is ball milling plus classifying system, which covers more than 90% of the market for these applications.     The pre-crushed raw material is fed into the system and passes an optical separation and magnetic separation devices to eliminate impurities before grinding.
