Ground calcium carbonate (GCC)production line

Due to the fact that the raw material of ground silica is hard and abrasive all the grinding equipment with fast running grinding elements like impact mill, classifier mill cannot be used. Only milling system with low-speed grinding elements are suitable. The classical processing system of ground silica is ball milling classifying system, which covers more than 90% of the market for these applications.

The advantages:

• The pre-crushed raw material is fed into the system and passes an optical separation and magnetic separation devices to eliminate impurities before grinding.

• The ground silica processing system is designed in a possible short circuit to reduce the chance of equipment abrasion and contamination.

• The lining of the ball mill is made of silex stones, aluminum oxide or other comparable material for iron-free production.

• All parts exposed to the feed material is protected with anti-wearing material. 

• A dosing system ensures constant feeding and consistent quality control of the final products.

• The tailor-made ball mill in combination with a static classifier result in energy saving and reducing the running cost.

• The ball mill followed by one dynamic classifier and a static classifier to produce products with special particle size distribution to satisfy the demand of high value-added products.

• The ground silica processing system is environmentally friendly since it works in negative pressure conditions.

• The silos as well as the ball mill have level indicators so as to run the plant automatically.

• The ground silica processing system has a PLC on-site control panels or a DCS for easy operation and saving labor force.
