Due to the fact that the raw material of ground silica is hard and abrasive all the grinding equipment with fast running grinding elements like impact mill, classifier mill cannot be used. Only milling system with low-speed grinding elements are suitable. The classical processing system of ground silica is ball milling classifying system, which covers more than 90% of the market for these applications.
